Mariya's Story Prolouge- pt 3Age 9:
Two years since the move to the new lab and one year since Mariya found her name. She took to calling herself by her new name in privacy, for fear of forgetting. To the scientists, doctors, and guards, she was Specimen M05, a useless thing that can't even do tests right. But to the shadowy beings that come at night and to herself, she was Mariya, a special young girl with an aptitude for magic.

Age 10:
The scientists found out about the magic. After the intense beating, they questioned Mariya on where she learned the supposedly 'foul' and 'disgusting' art. Mariya replied that the matron taught her. She never saw the matron again.

Mariya's Story Prolouge- pt 2Age 0:
As the young girl is still a baby, not even one yet, she can't do much. She was forced to start walking at the age of 3 months, falling over constantly, yet no one cared. Any time she stopped, the matron would hit her again, calling her a "useless piece of trash". The child was fed gruel, and only once a day. She was changed twice, though there wasn't much of a mess.

Age 1:
The child started learning how to read shortly after turning one, even though she doesn't know when she turned one. Learning how to read and write took up most of her time. One day was different, however. She had been woken up by the matron even earlier than the chMariya's Story Prolouge- pt 2 by *Desnay
Mariya's Story Prolouge- pt 1*Beep Beep* The alarms were blaring, alerting security and scientists that something was happening. It was the 50th time they have tried to combine DNA, only to fail and lose the specimens. However, this alarms was actually a good thing. It meant that a specimen was waking. They ran to see which one this was. Hopefully it was the Endermen specimen. Instead, it was Experiment M05, the Mooshroom specimen. Still, a success was a success, even if the specimen was basically useless. "This is the only success. It should hope to be useful to use, or it will be thrown away." the head scientist said, handing the crying child to the paid matron. "Yes, Mariya's Story Prolouge- pt 1 by *Desnay

I am Lividcoffee (WIP Lalna/Livid story snippet) 
"SJIN!" Lalna roared, chasing a flying meanace around the room. "GIVE ME MY FLYING RING!"
   Sjin hovered overhead, letting the ring dip closer and closer to the scientist, as he frantically jumped and clawed at the little band. "Why should I?" Sjin purred, as he rolled onto his back midair, lazily.
   Lalna could feel a part of him urge him to take out his bow and arrows and just shoot the architect down. "Sjin, give it back."
"No, you big baby," Sjin replied petulantly. Livid fumed. Here Sjin was, trespassing, stealing, taunting, and just being an annoyance.
   The scientist pulled out his bow and strung an arrow. Sjin's smug smile slipped slightly off of his face. A satisfying twang made Livid smile as the arrow flew through the air to catch the bearded man right on the finger Lalna's flying ring was on. With a cry, Sjin fell a story to the ground, hitting his head on the stone bricks.

The Dream (WIP Lalna/Lividcoffee story snippet)Lalna struggled to his feet in a dark, thick fog.

"Hello?" he called, "Is anyone here?" The scientist was worried; he didn't know where he was, and he wasn't sure how he'd got there.

A chuckle from behind made Lalna jump, and he quickly turned to face his adversary. He immediately wished he hadn't.

A pale faced man with blood red eyes stared at him: Israphel.

After a minute or two of speechless terror, Lalna managed to stutter out, "I-I-I-I th-thought you w-were d-dead." Israphel smiled slightly, as if he had remebered a vaugely ammusing joke.
